The Cedars of Chapel Hill has filed a Certificate of Need application with the N.C. Department of Health and Human Services to add 30 nursing beds to its facility, increasing it to 74 nursing beds.
This project is expected to cost $8.3 million and to be completed in March 2018.
A public hearing for this project will be held at 11 a.m. April 18, in the 2nd Floor Commissioners Chambers, Old Historic Courthouse, 200 E. Main St., Durham.
Anyone may file written comments concerning this proposal. Comments must be received by the Healthcare Planning and Certificate of Need Section no later than 5:30 p.m. March 31.
