North Carolina Central University
The North Carolina Central University Human Services will host a Flapjack Fundraiser from 7:30-10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, at Applebee’s, 8701 Brier Creek Parkway, Raleigh. Proceeds will be used to raise money for the school’s Department of Human Sciences’ scholarship program and field trips for children of the NCCU Child Development Laboratory. Carolina Tiger Rescue

The American Tobacco Campus will host the second annual Youth Villages Cornhole Tournament from 6-10 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 25, at the American Tobacco Amphitheatre. Food Truck Rodeo
Chapel Hill-Carrboro Meals on Wheels will sponsor its third annual Food Truck Rodeo from 5-8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 26, at Carrboro Town Commons, 301 W. Main St. There will be a raffle and bake sale, and 10 percent of the cost of food trucks’ meals will be donated to Meals on Wheels. chcmow.org.

Chapel Hill High School’s third annual Tiger CHill Carnival will be from 3-7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, at 1709 High School Road. Admission is free. Tickets for games, food and activities will be sold to raise money for the school’s clubs, teams, bands and organizations.
