Nature of Orange County photo contest deadline Friday

“The Nature of Orange” Photography Contest challenges photographers to capture the beauty of Orange County’s wildlife, waterways, natural resources, and people connecting with their environment.

The Orange County Department of Environment, Agriculture, Parks and Recreation is holdingits third annual Nature of Orange photography contest.

The contest is co-sponsored by the Orange County Commission for the Environment, and the Orange County Parks and Recreation Council.

“The Nature of Orange” Photography Contest challenges photographers to capture the beauty of Orange County’s wildlife, waterways, natural resources, and people connecting with their environment. Photos will be judged by professional artists who will award first, second and third place winners from both the youth and the adult divisions.

Winners will receive a cash award ($100 first place, $75 second place and $50 third place), a certificate, and recognition by the Orange County Board of Commissioners.

The deadline for photo submission is Friday May, 16.
