has achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. His Eagle project was building wooden furniture for an outdoor meeting and break area for the new PTA Thrift Shop in Carrboro. Teague, 18, joined Pack 39 as a Cub Scout in 2002, and Boy Scout Troop 820 in 2007. He has served as Senior Patrol Leader, Patrol Leader, Troop Guide, and Assistant Senior Patrol Leader. He was awarded 2010 Patrol Leader of the Year, 2013 Camper of the Year, and is one of the Troop’s top fundraisers. He is a 2014 graduate of Chapel Hill High School and he will attend Appalachian State University in the fall of 2014. He is the son of Bill and Beth Teague of Chapel Hill, NC.
a Chapel Hill native, is graduating from the University of Virginia on May 18, receiving degrees in political and social thought and in English, and will continue his education in England as Rhodes Scholar. He will pursue two one-year master’s programs, one in Victorian literature and another in history of science, after which he plans to return come back to the U.S. for a Ph.D. in English literature.
