a Chapel Hill native, graduated from the University of Virginia May 18, receiving degrees in political and social thought and in English, and will continue his education in England as Rhodes Scholar. He will pursue two one-year master’s programs, one in Victorian literature and another in history of science, after which he plans to return come back to the U.S. for a Ph.D. in English literature.
