LAST FRIDAYS ART WALK: The Hillsborough Arts Council’s Last Fridays Art Walk will be from 6-9 p.m. Friday, May 30, with events throughout Hillsborough. hillsboroughartscouncil.org.

SOUTHERN VILLAGE MUSIC AND MOVIES: Southern Village will host musical performances at 6 p.m. Sundays through the end of September at 600 Market St. Movies will be screened for $4 at dusk Fridays and Saturdays through Saturday, Sept. 13. APPRENTICESHIP SCHOLARSHIP: Carrboro offers a $1,000 scholarship for young artists participating in a summer apprenticeship. High school seniors, college students and people who have graduated from college in the past year may apply by 5 p.m. Friday, May 30. townofcarrboro.org/AdvBoards/Art.

‘THE WHITE SNAKE’: The C.G. Jung Society of the Triangle will host Jane Hauser as she presents “The White Snake,” a Jungian take on a Brothers Grimm fairy tale, at 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 6, at Binkley Baptist Church, 1712 Willow Drive, Chapel Hill.
