Carolina Tiger Rescue donation matching
Tigers in America will match 50 percent of any donation of $500 or more to Carolina Tiger Rescue. Carolina Tiger Rescue, a nonprofit in Pittsboro, cares for 70 animals (tigers, leopards and more) and teaches about conservation. Goodwill Community Foundation collects donations
The Goodwill Community Foundation will collect donations of gently used clothes or household items at Durham Bulls games at the Durham Athletic Park on Wednesday, July 16, and from Friday, Aug. 8, to Sunday, Aug. 10. gcfglobal.org.
Dog Days of Summer

Tar Heel Youth Triathlon
The Hillsborough Tar Heel Youth Triathlon will be at 8 a.m. Sunday, July 27, at the Orange County Sportsplex, 101 Meadowlands Drive. The race will raise money for Relay for Life of Orange County. Registration costs $60 to $70. www.tarheeltriathlon.com.
