Marking the end of the 2014 race year, members of the Cardinal Track Club’s board of directors met April 7 at Fleet Feet with representatives of their community partners and presented them with checks totaling more than $45,000 for their non-profit activities. Cardinal’s community partners include: The Arc of Orange County; Get Real & Heel; Orange County Rape Crisis Center; The Optimist Club; and TABLE. 
In 2014, an all-time high of 3,000 runners participated in the three races comprising Cardinal’s Le Tour de Carrboro. Cardinal has raised almost $300,000 for its community partners during Le Tour’s first 10 years.
