Tigers starts annual mini-camp July 27
Chapel Hill High Football will hold mini-camp beginning on July 27.
Drills will begin at 6 p.m. and end at 8 p.m. each day on the practice field, Monday through Thursday during camp week.
The mini-camp is for all rising freshmen, sophomors, juniors and seniors who are interested in playing football at Chapel Hill High School.

Wildcat golf tryouts start Aug.1
Tryouts for the East Chapel Hill High School women’s golf team will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 1, at the driving range at Chapel Hill Country Club.

Highlanders to host Kids Rugby Camp
The Chapel Hill Highlanders Rugby Club will host their fourth annual Kids Rugby Camp on Aug. 4-6 at Cedar Falls Park, with sessions from 9 a.m. to midday each day.
The camp, structured for boys and girls ages 7-15, will involve kids in the non-contact form of rugby. No prior rugby experience or equipment is required.

NCCA all-star games are this week
Chapel Hill basketball player Raziyah Farrington and Carrboro soccer goalkeeper Richard Cato are in Greensboro this week to take part in the annual N.C. Coaches Association all-star games.
Farrington is on the East girls basketball team, which plays at 6:30 p.m. Monday in the Greensboro Coliseum, followed by the boys’ all-star game. Cato is scheduled to take part in Tuesday’s soccer matches (girls at 6:30 p.m. and boys at 8:30 p.m.) at the Bryan Park Soccer Complex.
The NCCA all-star week concludes with Wednesday’s East-West football game at Jamieson Stadium.
