Sports physicals offered this week
Sports physicals, free of charge, for potential student-athletes from any school in the Chapel Hill-Carrboro or Orange County systems will be available from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on July 28 at the UNC Orthopaedics Clinic at Carolina Pointe II, located at 6011 Farrington Road.
A completed physical exam is required for any student participating in varsity or junior varsity sports for Carrboro High School, Cedar Ridge, Chapel Hill, East Chapel Hill High, Orange High or Phoenix Academy.
Forms are available at www.uncortho.org. The athlete’s information should be completed on the form and signed by a parent/guardian before the appointment.
UNC Family Medicine of Hillsborough will conduct exams for $5, starting at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Orange High School’s wrestling weight room.
