The Bouncing Bulldogs Jump Rope Team bounced their way around the world to compete in the fifth annual World Jump Rope Championship in Paris, France, and returned with 133 awards: 55 gold, 41 silver, and 37 bronze.
The Bulldogs competed against top jumpers from 26 different countries.
In the Senior Open division, Ilana Fried, Andrew Mauch, Isabel Osborne and Adam Weston tied for top All-Around Double Dutch Team honors.
Earning the titles of All-Around Single Rope and Double Dutch Team were Ragan Copeland, Bailey Pons, Megan Shohfi, and Jordyn Watkins from the Junior Female division, and Lily Merrigan, Kenzie Ruston, Whitney Watkins, and Anna Reebin the Senior Female division.

The Bouncing Bulldogs were also awarded first place in the Senior Team Show event, earning overall title of world champions for the fifth straight year.
Bulls play two before hitting the road this weekend
The Durham Bulls host Norfolk at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday before heading on a five-day road trip to Indianapolis and Louisville.
The Bulls won their recent three-game series with Louisville, 2-1, with Southpaw Blake Snell (2-2) notching a 9-0 shutout Sunday.
The Bulls will return to the DBAP to host Toledo (Aug. 19-21) and Columbus (Aug. 22-23).
AME Bowling League returns to AMF Durham Lanes
The St. Paul AME Community Bowling League returns to action Aug. 23 at the AMF Durham Bowling Lanes on the Chapel Hill Blvd.
The evening will begin with a quick informational meeting at 4:15 p.m. and three-member teams get into action at 5 p.m.
Bowlers are asked to bring $32 for the first night, which covers the yearly league membership and the first night of lane fees. (League nights carry a fee of $12 per week.)
