Clayton police have released new surveillance photos from the armed robbery of Family Dollar earlier this month.

Police are asking for help in identifying the two men demanded money and cigarettes from store clerks on Aug. 9. The men fled through the back door of the door.

No one was hurt in the robbery.

Clayton police made the following arrest recently:

•  Jose Luis Cecilio-Teodoro, 17, of 1008 Sunset Lane, Clayton, was charged Aug. 13 with felony possession of stolen goods.


Police are investigating the following of larcenies:

•  Credit cards, a wallet, cash, an iPod Touch, a pistol and a GoPro video camera were stolen overnight Aug. 18 from five vehicles parked in the 700 block of Parkridge Drive.
•  Merchandise valued at $100 was stolen Aug. 17 from Walmart on Towne Centre Boulevard.
•  Surge protectors, power cords, cables, extension cords and other items valued at a total of $265 were stolen between 10 and 10:30 p.m. Aug. 16 from The FlipSide on East Second Street .
• A generator valued at $500 was stolen Aug. 16 from a parking lot on South Moore Street.
