In 3A action, Union Pines (15-1) dismissed Corinth Holders (10-1) by a score of 8-1. Cleveland (7-6) also fell 8-1 to Northern Guilford (7-3) in the first round.
North Johnston (11-3) saw its season end after a 6-3 loss in the 2A bracket to St. Pauls (13-0) on Tuesday.
