Why FSU? “The coach there stayed in constant contact with me and was willing to take a chance on me even with my two ACL tears. The team is very friendly and the school has the major field I want to pursue.”
Major: Health & Physical Education
Notable: Tajah missed nearly two full seasons recovering from major knee injuries (ACL tears) from her eighth grade year through her junior season. She played only three games as a junior. Recovering from the second one was more of a mental battle than a physical one, she said. … Averaging 16 points, 4.5 assists and 4.3 steals a game, she was named the Two Rivers 3A Conference player of the year her senior season. But it’s the bond she developed with her teammates that leaves the biggest impression on her. “The family atmosphere here, I’ve never had that before,” Tajah said. “Helping our team make history with our playoff run and being named player of the year were special memories too.” … She projects to play point guard for the Broncos.
