The Corinth Holders volleyball team won its first Two Rivers Conference title this season. Courtney Atkinson was a vital piece to that championship run as she totaled 204 assists and 86 digs and was named Most Reliable. Kelly Ammons was key on the back line as the Pirates won nine of their final 11 matches in the regular season and was rewarded with the Coaches Award for her efforts.
The girls tennis team went unbeaten in conference play to take that title as well. Megan Dyer amassed a 14-1 record and the top singles player for Corinth Holders. Alex Rodier and Ashley Stufano were key pieces for the Pirates team as well, finishing with identical 12-2 singles records to earn the Most Improved and Coaches Award, respectively.
In girls golf, Peyton LaBonte earned the Lowest Average award with a 40.8 stroke average while Lana Wang was named MVP.
Kayla Ste. Marie won the girls cross country individual title and helped lead her squad to the team victory as well. Rachel Strickland, who won Most Improved Runner, pushed Ste. Marie in the conference championship, finishing in second place there.
Austin Carroll came in fourth place in the conference championship for the boys and was a state qualifier. Alex Dudash and Andre Hichue also qualified for states and took home the Most Improved Runner and Pirate Award honors.
In boys soccer, Pedro Segundo provided the offensive punch with 24 goals on the season to win the Offensive Award. Midfielders Derek Kaple and Dillon Parker both won the Coaches Award putting up nearly identical stats. Kaple finished with 12 goals and 14 assists while Parker netted 12 goals as well and led the team with 16 assists.
In football, Howard Watson powered the Pirates to a nine-win season with 1,260 yards on the ground and 11 scores to win Offensive MVP. Ian Cregan took home Defensive Skill MVP honors while Matt Cooper won team MVP.
