Speed, alcohol blamed in fatal crash
DURHAM One man was killed and another critically injured early Monday when their car went into a turn too fast on a ramp from U.S. 15-501 to Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway, went airborne and crashed into a Jersey barrier, police said.
The crash closed MLK Parkway between University Drive and U.S. 15-501 as well as the exit from northbound 15-501 to MLK.
