A woman already serving time in the state prison for women in Raleigh was indicted Monday on charges that she murdered a Durham man in 2012.
Crystal Brandi Fox is accused of killing Donald Watson Sr. at his home at 4424 Regis Ave. on July 9, 2012. Authorities have not said how Watson, 74, died or what led them to seek Monday’s grand jury indictment against Fox.
Fox, 41, was convicted in January 2013 of possessing or distributing materials to make methamphetamine. She was sentenced to a minimum of 1 year 7 months in prison.
Durham police say their investigation of Watson’s death is not complete.
