Police are asking for information in connection with two purse snatchings reported at The Streets at Southpoint at 6910 Fayetteville Road in the past two weeks.
The first incident was reported around 2:41 p.m. Dec. 30 in the parking lot near Belk. The suspect was described as a tall, slender black male in his late teens or early 20s. He was wearing a burgundy hoodie and black pants with a swoosh on them. He fled in a small white car.
The second incident was reported shortly before 8:30 p.m. Jan. 2 in a parking lot near Nordstrom. The suspects were described as tall, slender black males wearing light-colored clothing and masks on their faces. They fled in a white, 4-door car, possibly a Mazda.
Police did not provide other physical characteristics about the suspects.

The victim in the first case was injured during a struggle over the purse, and the victim in the second case was punched and pushed to the ground, according to police spokesperson Kammie Michael.
No weapons were used in the incidents.
