Garage Band Jam Fridays

Durham County Library will host Garage Band Jam Fridays at 3 p.m. on the lawn at the Main Library, 300 N. Roxboro St. Bring a lawn chair or blanket. The Durham Farmers’ Market will be open from 8 a.m. to noon at 501 Foster St. durhamfarmersmarket.com.

The Durham Area Transit Authority provides a free shuttle from Durham Station to the farmers’ market every 15 minutes from 7:45-11:45 a.m. Saturdays through Aug. 23. The station is at 515 W. Pettigrew St.

South Durham Farmers’ Market

The South Durham Farmers’ Market will be open from 8 a.m. to noon in the Greenwood Commons Shopping Center at 5410 N.C. Highway 55.
