Big Ron Hunter is nicknamed the "World's Happiest Bluesman and showed why during the Jubilee Music Festival held Saturday July 13, 2013 in Durham, N.C.  The festival was held at the Historic Stagville Plantation and featured a variety of music which was impacted by African American culture. Stagville was the largest plantation in North Carolina, encompassing over 30,000 acres with over 900 slaves. It is located a few miles northeast of Durham.
