Smashburger raises money for Duke Children’s Hospital
Smashburger, a new hamburger restaurant, will donate 10 percent of proceeds from the restaurant’s opening on Wednesday, March 12, through Sunday, March 16, to Duke Children’s Hospital & Health Center. The restaurant is in Lakeview Pavilion East shopping center at 2608 Erwin Road, Durham.
Assistance dog graduation ceremony
Ears Eyes Nose and Paws will host a graduation ceremony for three assistance dogs and clients from 1-2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 15, at the Church of Reconciliation, 110 N. Elliott Road, Chapel Hill.
