Fundraiser for St. Baldrick’s Foundation
Moe’s Southwest Grill and the Duke University Physician Assistant Program are raising money for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation. Mention the Duke Physician Assistant Program while ordering at the restaurant to donate 20% of your bill to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation from 4-9 p.m. Thursday, March 20, at Moe’s Southwest Grill, 6807 Fayetteville Road, Durham.
‘The Crash Reel’
Central Carolina First in Families will screen “The Crash Reel” at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 20, at The ArtsCenter, 300-G E. Main St., Carrboro. East Chapel Hill High School fundraiser
Two Great Clips locations will donate a portion of sales to East Chapel Hill High School from Friday, March 21, through Sunday, March 23. The participating Great Clips are at 509 Meadowmont Village Circle, Chapel Hill, and 5412 New Hope Commons Drive, Durham.
CROP Hunger Walk
The Inter-Faith Council for Social Service’s 28th annual CROP Hunger Walk will start with registration at 1:30 p.m. and the walk at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 23, at Carrboro Town Commons, 301 W. Main St. There will be half-mile, two-mile and four-mile routes. ifcweb.org.
Little River Community Complex carnival
Little River Community Complex will host a carnival fundraiser from Friday, March 28, through Sunday, April 6, at the Durham County Stadium, 7500 N. Duke St., Durham. Tickets for unlimited rides cost $22.
Great Human Race
The Great Human Race will raise money for local nonprofits with a 10K race at 7:45 a.m., 5K race at 8 a.m. and a community walk at 8:05 a.m. Saturday, March 29, starting at Northgate Mall, 1058 W.
