“Water for the Girls!”
The Main Library will host the Sister Cities of Durham’s Arusha Committee for the “Water for the Girls!” discussion on the St. Joseph Secondary School in Arusha, Tanzania, at 7 p.m. at 300 N. Roxboro St.
The Arusha Committee, Sister Cities of Durham’s Youth Council and Durham’s Rotary Clubs have worked with the school on a water education and infrastructure repair project.

Northgate Mall and Durham County Library’s Discovery Nook hosts local emergency medical services, fire department, law enforcement and medical personnel for “Every Hero Has a Story” from 12:30-2:30 p.m. at 1058 W. Club Blvd.
