Outfielder Wil Myers, the reigning American League Rookie of the Year, is scheduled to begin a rehab assignment Sunday in a double-header for the Durham Bulls.

Outfielder Wil Myers, the reigning American League Rookie of the Year, is scheduled to begin a rehab assignment Sunday in a double-header for the Durham Bulls.

Myers was slated as the Bulls’ designated hitter Saturday but that game was rained out, setting the stage for today’s games. The Durham Bulls have re-arranged their schedule to host the Buffalo Bisons for two, seven-inning games on Sunday, beginning at 4:05 p.m. Gates will open at the DBAP at 3:30 p.m.

Fans with tickets for Saturday’s game can exchange them for today’s doubleheader or any other 2014 regular season home game, based on availability. A ticket for Sunday’s game will serve as admittance to both games of the doubleheader. Tickets can be exchanged at the DBAP box office.
