Corinth Holders High’s Maria Young placed second in the Senior category of the 2014 N.C. Aviation Art contest. More than 400 young artists representing 74 towns and 50 schools across the state submitted their take on the theme “Flying Saves Lives,” through NCDOT’s Division of Aviation’s 2014 North Carolina Aviation Art Contest.

Corinth Holders High’s Maria Young placed second in the Senior category of the 2014 N.C. Aviation Art contest. More than 400 young artists representing 74 towns and 50 schools across the state submitted their take on the theme “Flying Saves Lives,” through NCDOT’s Division of Aviation’s 2014 North Carolina Aviation Art Contest.

Young will represent North Carolina in the national contest. The national winners will then be in line for an international competition sponsored by the Federation Aeronautique Internationale, which was established in 1905 to promote air sports.
