Water line construction slated to begin Monday, Dec. 5 will cause traffic delays on Mack Todd Road and West Gannon Avenue.
The city of Raleigh’s Public Utilities Department, which manages the water system in the town of Zebulon, will be extending a 12-inch water line. There will be some traffic lane shifts at times during the construction, but two way traffic will be maintained.
Construction is expected to last three to four months.
Customers are not expected to suffer significant interruption of water service, but Raleigh officials will notify residents in advance if the work requires water service to be stopped.
