A Johnston County high school teacher was arrested Friday on charges including manufacturing and trafficking marijuana.
Brittany Alexandria Coley, 22, of Knightdale, was in the Wake County Jail on Saturday in lieu of $250,000 secured bond.
She also was charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, possession of marijuana paraphernalia and maintaining a controlled substance.
Coley has taught social studies at West Johnston High School since August, said Johnston County Schools spokeswoman Tracey Peedin Jones. Coley has been suspended with pay, Jones said. From staff reports
