Gospel concerts• The Forward Group of Good Hope Baptist Church will host a gospel dinner concert at 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, in the church’s Multipurpose Building, 4209 S. Smithfield Road, Knightdale. “The Chosen Voices” will render music for the event. Admission is $20 for adults and $10 for children under 12. Proceeds will go to the building fund. Church men’s event
Faith Baptist Church will host a men’s event at 6:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, at 2728 Marks Creek Road, Knightdale. The theme of the meeting is “Legacy,” with special guest speaker Dr. Tony Evans, founder and pastor of the 9,500-member Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship in Dallas. A flea market and bake sale will be held from 7 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 1, at Zebulon United Methodist Church, 121 W. Gannon Ave., Zebulon. Clothes, furniture, toys, homemade baked goods and breakfast items will be for sale.
Preschool open house
Knightdale UMC Preschool is a half-day program that serves children ages 15 months to 5 years. An open house will be held from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Sunday, March 9, at 7071 Forestville Road, Knightdale.
