The Pilot Lions Club will host a Thanksgiving breakfast Thursday from 6-10 a.m. at the Pilot Lions Club at 50 Pilot Bypass Road, Pilot. Breakfast is free, though donations are accepted. There will also be a reverse raffle that morning. Top prizes include $1,000 cash, a utility trailer and other items.
Christmas home tour
The Wendell Historical Society will sponsor a Christmas home tour Sat. Dec. 10 from 2-5 p.m. Tickets are $10 and may be purchased in advance at The General Store and Baynes & Co. Tickets will also be available the day of the tour at the Historic Wendell Post Office at the corner of Oakwood and Fourth Streets. There will be seven homes on this year’s tour.
