Kushner replaces Sutton in Wake school board shakeup

The Wake County school board elected Christine Kushner as its new chairwoman Tuesday, replacing Keith Sutton in a 7-2 vote. Board members who voted for the change declined to offer a specific reason for removing Sutton after a single one-year term.
