The Garner Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources (PRCR) administrative offices has relocated to Garner Senior Center in preparation for future construction projects.
Those projects include the new Town Hall and Indoor Recreation Center.
A staff member will remain at the PRCR Town Hall location until Aug. 28 to give the public a 30-day transition period to become aware of the office relocation. After Aug. 28, registrations and rentals will no longer be taken at the PRCR Town Hall location.
Residents can visit PRCR administrative staff at their temporary Garner Senior Center location, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., to register for programs and rent shelters or facilities. Program registrations and shelter reservations also can still be made online at garnernc.gov by clicking on “PRCR Activities/Rentals” on the left side of the homepage.
Never miss a local story.
Residents can also register for programs and rent shelters or facilities at White Deer Park and Avery Street Recreation Center.
PRCR administrative staff will move into their new permanent home, the Indoor Recreation Center, upon completion of that facility in the summer of 2017.
