UPDATE: Police have interviewed the man in the photos they released late Tuesday afternoon, whom they believed possibly robbed a woman in broad daylight.
Garner police released the photos of the man, seeking to find a suspect of the robbery in the Forest Hills Shopping Center on Fifth Avenue Tuesday around 3:45 p.m.
A white male, about 6-foot-2, with slim build, short light brown hair, braces, wearing blue jeans and a green long sleeve T-shirt, struggled for a woman’s purse on the sidewalk. He eventually stole cash from her purse and fled.
Police say the investigation is still ongoing.
Police are seeking a man they say robbed a woman in broad daylight in the Forest Hills Shopping Center on Fifth Avenue.
The woman was on the sidewalk when a white male about 6-foot-2, with slim build and short light brown hair grabbed for her purse around 3:45 p.m. Tuesday. The two struggled for the purse and he stole her money.
The man is also said to have braces, eye glasses, walked with a limp and stutters when he speaks. He was last seen wearing a green long sleeve shirt and blue jeans and leaving with another person in a black sedan.
