The town staff working in the town hall building have moved to temporary locations nearby.
The administration, economic development, engineering, finance and human resource departments will now be located at 914 Seventh Avnue. The Planning and Inspections department will be at 400 Aversboro Road.
And the town council, planning commission and Board of Adjustment will meet in the police department’s training room starting in February.
Voters approved a $35.7 million bond referendum in 2013 that included a new town hall. Construction is expected to begin in May and conclude June 2017. The town will start the bidding process in March.
Building town hall is estimated to cost a little more than $9.2 million.
