Students recognized for respect
Archer Lodge Middle School 8th grader Walker Driver has been recognized by the school as an exemplar of September’s Character Education trait, “Respect.”
Walker was described by his teachers as “very polite and mannerly” and “always has a smile on his face and says hello” when you see him in the hallway. They shared that he always responds with “yes ma’am” or “yes sir” when asked a question. One teacher said he surprised her one day and held the door open for her as they came into the room, and she was so pleased to see that chivalry wasn’t dead. He is a confident young man who has learned even at his young age that people respond to respect and will give it back in return.
Driver is the son of Jeanie and David Driver.
