The Business of Being an Artist seminar will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 1, at the Workforce Development Center, 135 Best Wood Drive, Clayton. This workshop opportunity is free and open to artists regardless of expertise. Topics will include: Writing an Artist Statement, Resume and Bio, Marketing and Networking to Make Connections, Fast and Easy web-sites and Social Networking and Creative PR for Artists, Applying for Artist Grants, Art Festivals, and Artist Residencies.
