The Johnston United Soccer Association has entered intn an agreement with the Carolina RailHawks to deliver the RailHawks’ Elite Technique supplemental training program to all JUSA Classic and Challenge level players and coaches beginning this spring.
The RailHawks’ Elite Technique program is an elite-level supplemental training program patterned upon the most successful professional youth training programs worldwide.
“We are excited to bring Elite Technique to a youth soccer club for the first time,“ said RailHawks Senior Vice President, Pete Sciandra. “We have been extremely impressed with the vision of JUSA’s senior leadership team and their commitment to launching creative programming to improve the development opportunities for its players and coaches. Their vision of creative and comprehensive player and coaching development is well aligned with our desire to help grow the game through our unique Elite Technique programs.”
The curriculum was developed by the RailHawks professional technical staff and is based on decades of direct youth academy and professional playing and coaching experience in the U.S. and Europe. Elite Technique training aims to develop the “complete player” by addressing all aspects of the game - technical, tactical, physical and psychological – in a way that challenges a player to push past existing skill levels in a constructive, positive environment that builds their passion for the game.
Never miss a local story.
“After a thorough examination of several area programs, we felt that the Elite Technique program, which focuses on building a complete player while at the same time offering our coaches a differentiated learning experience, was the choice to help set us apart from other area clubs and offer our players an additional opportunity for growth,” said JUSA President David Glover. “The Elite Technique program is also consistent with the overall mission of JUSA, which is making soccer the game of choice for kids in Johnston County and surrounding local areas by building upon an exciting affiliation with the Carolina RailHawks.”
Under this new agreement, which extends through the middle of 2017, the RailHawks and JUSA have also agreed to develop additional supplemental training programs and specialized camps for its players throughout the year.
