Alexander Nunley of Garner became a four-time national champion recently, winning the 80-meter hurdle national title at the 2015 USA Track and Field National Junior Olympics in Jacksonville, Fla. Nunley took the title in the 11-12-year-old division. He also ran on the winning 1,600 relay team (RunUXpress). Nunley, a student at Centennial Middle School, also has an AAU national outdoor and USATF 55-meter indoor national title to his credit this year. His best time in the 80 hurdles is 11.85 seconds.
