Shaylynn Hall led the Trojans volleyball team to an 8-6 conference mark and finished in the top five in the conference in kills (206) and total blocks (98) and won the Most Outstanding Performer award. Senior Aaliayah Raynor won the Trojan Award.
In girls tennis, Jamie Povich won MOP as the junior went 5-4 in singles matches and also totaled a 7-6 mark with doubles teammate and Trojan Award winner Christine Wilkins.
In golf, all-conference selection Tylor Whitley was awarded MOP while Natalie Allen took home the Trojan Award.
Abby Durbal was recognized as the MOP for girls cross country for her consistency throughout the season. Sarah Dancausse finished in 10th place in the Greater Neuse River Conference championships and was bestowed the Trojan Award.
Billy Knabe turned in strong performances all season long for the boys cross country team including a third place showing in the GNRC championships with a 17:06.05 time and top-40 finish at the 4A Mideast Regional.
Twelve goals and 10 assists were more than enough to have Alejandro Anorve-Carbajal honored as the MOP for the boys soccer team that finished in second place in the conference. Senior playmaker Junior Ayala won the Trojan Award as his last season at Garner saw him finish with eight goals and seven assists.
The football team won the GNRC championship and each member of the squad received a conference championship plaque, but no team awards were given.
