Program explores tango in N.C.
History à la Carte: Tango! The Song! The Dance! The Obsession! is scheduled from 12:10 to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the N.C. Museum of History, 5 E. Edenton St., Raleigh. William McNeill, N.C. Humanities Council Road Scholar, will explore the growing popularity of tango in North Carolina. The program will include a piano performance, lecture and dance demonstration. The 32nd annual Crape Myrtle Fest Grand Gala is set for 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday in the Memorial Auditorium Lobby at the Progress Energy Center, 2 E. South St., Raleigh.
