Enloe charity ball
Enloe High School will host its 10th annual charity ball from 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, at Marbles Kids Museum, 201 E. Hargett St., Raleigh. The event will include a dessert bar, a non-alcoholic drink bar, a photo booth and the Shine cover band. Proceeds will help the school fight child hunger in Wake County. Dietrich receives scholarship
Rebecca Dietrich of Raleigh has received the American Farm Bureau Scholarship. The funds from the scholarship will allow Dietrich and three other members of Sigma Alpha Sorority to attend the American Farm Bureau Federation’s FUSION Conference in Nashville, Tenn.
DeLeonardis: Future Medical Leader
Maximillion DeLeonardis, a senior at Heritage High School in Wake Forest, has been nominated to attend the Congress of Future Medical Leaders in Washington, D.C. The Congress is an honors-only program for high school students who want to become physicians and study in medical research fields. The event serves to honor, inspire, motivate and direct the students. DeLeonardis was nominated by Dr. Connie Mariano, the medical director of the National Academy of Future Physicians and Medical Scientists.
