Project Linus

St. Raphael Preschool recently donated 10 handmade quits to Project Linus. For over 12 years, St. Raphael Preschool has participated with Project Linus. This is a non-profit organization with local chapters that provide homemade blankets to children in need.

In return for each child bringing in a can of food, they were able to choose a fabric square of their liking. The children, with parent help, then used sewing machines to sew these squares together to create 10 quilts, one from each preschool class. Once all the squares were attached, parents then added the batting and backing to complete these special blankets.
