Historic mill tours
Guided tours of the Historic Yates Mill will resume from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 7, at 4620 Lake Wheeler Road, Raleigh. On June 21 and 22, the mill will have its first corn-grinding weekend where tours will be given by costumed interpreters, and the mill will produce cornmeal.
Home buying seminar
A free home buying seminar will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 10, at 900 Ridgefield Drive, Suite 90, Raleigh. Limb loss education
Limb Loss Education Day will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 21, at the Carmichael Complex on NCSU’s main campus, 2611 Cates Ave., Raleigh. Registration is $15 with a deadline of June 16. The event will include educational seminars, interaction between support groups, healthcare providers and the limb loss community at large. Pet a Pony
