Broughton (1-7, 1-3)
at Heritage (5-3, 3-1)
Heritage is rolling on a three-game win streak, and Broughton will try to bounce back from a homecoming loss to Enloe.
Cardinal Gibbons (7-0, 2-0)
at N. Vance (1-7, 0-2)
No. 6 Cardinal Gibbons is atop its Carolina 3-A conference and will look to remain undefeated against a Northern Vance team on a seven-game losing streak.
Millbrook (2-6, 1-3)
at Leesville Road (7-0, 4-0)
No. 2 Leesville Road goes into its homecoming game sitting alone at the top of the Cap Eight. Millbrook comes off a loss to Heritage to take on the conference’s only remaining undefeated team.
Ravenscroft (4-4, 3-0)
at N. Raleigh Christian (4-2, 1-1)
Ravenscroft celebrated its homecoming with a huge 42-0 win last week. The Ravens hope to remain undefeated in conference play, as North Raleigh Christian is coming off a loss to Harrells Academy.
Sanderson (1-7, 0-4)
at WF-Rolesville (7-1, 3-1)
No. 5 Wake Forest-Rolesville was handed its first loss of the year against No. 4 Wakefield. The Cougars will look to bounce back in their homecoming game against a struggling Sanderson team still looking for its first conference win.
Wakefield (7-1, 3-1)
at Enloe (1-7, 1-3)
Both teams got big wins last week, but for different reasons. No. 4 Wakefield rebounded from its loss to Leesville Road to upset previously undefeated Wake Forest-Rolesville while Enloe cashed in its first win of the season under first-year coach Mike Massey.
“At some point, I think they just got fed up and said enough is enough and wanted to put together a full game. ... We’ve had a tough seven games, playing Garner, Southeast Raleigh, Leesville Road and Wake Forest-Rolesville. I hope this shows them that they can still salvage something this season.”
