History á la Carte at N.C. Museum of History

From noon to 2 p.m., History á la Carte will feature Lindsey A. Lambert, executive director of the N.C. Pottery Center in Seagrove. Lambert will talk about the role of the center in sharing one of the state’s most enduring traditions and then discuss N.C.’s face jug tradition and its origins. The museum is located at 5 E. Yoga class

A donations-requested yoga class will be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. at Evolve Movement, 8470 Falls of Neuse Road, Raleigh. The session will focus on adaptive yoga for all skill sets.

Restaurant night fundraiser

A restaurant night fundraiser will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. at Sweet CeCe’s Yogurt, 3624 Rogers Road, Wake Forest. The fundraiser will benefit Wake Forest teen Brooke Parrish, who requires a liver transplant. A percentage of all proceeds will go to the Children’s Organ Transplant Association in honor of Parrish if the patron mentions the fundraiser.

Storytime at N.C. Museum of History
