Pet a Pony
Pet a Pony day will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 25, at the Gov. James B. Hunt Horse Complex, 4601 Trinity Road, Raleigh.
Participants can pet a pony, learn about horse health and care, watch show jumping and watch a farrier at work
Admission and parking are free.

“Indivisible,” a patriotic musical with live orchestra, will be presented by the Crabtree Valley Baptist Choir at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, June 28, at Crabtree Valley Baptist Church, 4408 Lead Mine Road, Raleigh. Independence Day celebrations
Joel Lane Museum House will hold its 23rd annual historic Independence Day open house from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, July 4, at 160 S. Saint Mary’s St., Raleigh.
Admission is free, though donations will be taken.
The event will include historical reenactments and craft activities.
