Garden Walk at Bedford
The first Garden Walk at Bedford will be from 1 to 6 p.m. Saturday, May 2, at 10630 Bedfordtown Drive, Raleigh. More than 20 private gardens will be on display. Tickets are $20 each and must be purchased in advance at bedfordgardenwalk.com. The Tea at Bedford Abbey is a separately ticketed event, limited to 64 seats, and will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Bedford neighborhood clubhouse. Tickets to both events are $35.
Mad Hatter’s Tea Party
The Wake Forest Garden Club will hold its annual Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, Garden Market and Garden Tour from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 9, at the Wake Forest Historical Museum, 414 N. Main St. Tea will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tickets can be purchased in advance from any club member or at The Cotton Company. Tea and tour tickets are $25 in advance and $30 the day of the event. Tea-only or tour-only tickets are $15 in advance and $20 the day of the event. The Rolesville Police Department will host a bicycle rodeo from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 9, at Rolesville Middle School, 4700 Burlington Mills Road. Canine Assistants – Noah’s Team of Raleigh will host a Pizza and Pooches fundraiser from 5 to 10 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, at Milton’s Pizza and Pasta, 8853 Six Forks Road, Raleigh. A portion of the proceeds from dine-in and take-out orders will help sponsor a service dog for someone on the wait list. Patrons should mention Canine Assistants to their server.
Dialogue and Friendship Dinner
The Divan Center will hold its 2015 Dialogue and Friendship Dinner at 7 p.m. Saturday, May 16, at the James B. Hunt Jr. Library at N.C. State University, 1070 Partners Way, Raleigh. Wake Forest Charity Car Show
The third annual Wake Forest Charity Car Show will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 20, in historic downtown Wake Forest. The free event, presented by Wake Forest Downtown, showcases classic and antique automobiles, including custom, muscle, sports, pony, classics, street rods and custom trucks. There will be live music, food trucks, a Model T assembly demonstration, door prizes and a raffle. All proceeds will benefit local organizations, including the Wake Forest Boys & Girls Club, Purple Heart Foundation of North Carolina and Miracle League of the Triangle.

Pet a Pony Day
The eighth annual Pet a Pony Day will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 24, at the Gov. James B. Hunt Jr. Horse Complex, 4601 Trinity Road, Raleigh.
