‘MEXhibit: Mexican Artists in North Carolina’
Throughout May, the City of Raleigh Museum and the Consulate General of Mexico are sponsoring an exhibit of several Mexican artists who live in North Carolina. The artwork includes sculptures and paintings. The City of Raleigh Museum is located at 220 Fayetteville St., Raleigh.
‘State of the Print’
The Miriam Preston Block Art Gallery will display “State of the Print” from 8:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. June 3 through July 24 in the Avery C. Upchurch Government Complex, 222 W. Hargett St., Raleigh. An opening reception will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 4. The exhibition, which is sponsored by the Office of Raleigh Arts, highlights contemporary printmaking practices.
