Pine Level scouts honored

Pine Level Cub Scout Pack 63 held it Blue and Gold Banquet May 19.
Cub Scouts Christopher Moore, Justin Barker, Robbie Creech, Gage Rivera, Tyler Gronednyke and Jordan Hales received rank advancements and other awards. Also, Jordan Hales received the Arrow of Light award and changed out his ribbon colors.
Den leaders Dave Bradley, Brandon Creech, Carol Creech, Tammy Rivera and Angie Hales received their service pins. Assistant Cub Master Leo Creech received his service pin too and was named Cub Master for the coming year.
Ashlyn Moore received her “Duty to God” and “God and Family” awards from a previous ceremony.
On May 18, Scouts from Pine Level went to Pleasant Grove Original Free Will Baptist Church in Pikeville for an awards ceremony. The Scouts had completed a program called “Duty to God” with Pastor Freddie Pierce.
Christopher Moore, Robbie Creech Gage Rivera and Jessa Rivera received the “God and Me” awards. Other recipients were Tristan Galla, “God and Church” award; Jordan Hales, “God and Family”; Bradley Hales, “God and Life”; and Ashlyn Moore, “God and Family.”
The Scouts presented mentor awards to their parents, Dave Bradley, Brandon Creech, Carol Creech, Tammy Rivera and Angie Hales.
The Scouts are from Cub Scout Pack 63, Girl Scout Troop 1092 and Boy Scouts Troop 63.
