MikeMickXer, whose music ranges from rockabilly to reggae, will perform from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12, on the Town Square on Main Street in Clayton. Admission is free. Concessions will be available.
Pottery class in Clayton
A youth pottery class will begin Monday, Sept. 16 at the Clayton Community Center, 715 Amelia Church Road, Clayton. The class, for home-schooled children ages 8-12, will meet from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Mondays for six weeks. The cost, including clay, is $75 for residents and $90 for nonresidents. JCC Concert Series
Johnston County Community College has announced its 2013-2014 Concert Series lineup. All shows will be in the Paul A. Johnston Auditorium on the Smithfield campus, 245 College Road.
JCC faculty, staff and students are eligible for one free ticket per person for the following shows: “Blood Done Sign My Name” and comedians Shang Forbes and Aaliyah Ford.
