Princeton rolls by Lakewood, cliniches second place finish

Princeton clinched a second place finish in the Carolina 1A Conference with a 41-13 victory over Lakewood Saturday night. The Bulldogs (7-3, 4-1) will wrap up their regular season against Rosewood this Friday.

Six different Princeton players scored touchdowns in the victory. Reggie Perry, Michael wooten, Dillon Pace, Matt Hewett and Johnny Frasier all ran for scores as the Bulldogs built a 28-0 lead.

Frasier ran for 234 yards on 21 carries. His TD run covered 92 yards.

Wooten threw a TD pass to Nick Hare and finished the night with 185 yards passing.

Defensively, junior Cody Garner had 14 tackles, while Quinton Rhue and Adrian Whack finished with seven tackles each. Martice Williams also intercepted a pass for Princeton.
